The Super Genta anti-magnetic watch…

The Universal Geneve Polerouter was designed by Gerald Genta, following a commission by Scandinavian Airline Systems (SAS) to design a watch to commemorate their new route that went over the North Pole. UG were the official watch of SAS and they needed the Genta-penned design to be anti-magnetic to cope with the extreme magnetic fields.
The watch we are offering is a large-size 36mm example that remains in outstanding condition. The straight-lug case really is crisp and retains the original large winding crown that is stamped ‘U’. The black so-called bullseye dial has a reeded outer track, half crosshair on the inner section and features the POLEROUTER SUPER text in crisp silver. The lume dots have taken on a nice patina that matches the hands. The watch houses a very finely finished Cote-de-Geneve automatic movement features the UG micro rotor and has been fully checked by our watchmaker.
