Rolex Submariner Date Reference 16610 Box and Papers

This Sub with holes in the case and the papers…

The Submariner Date began its journey in 1969 and has been in production ever since. This reference 16610 is a great example of the now discontinued reference featuring a really lovely glossy dial and strong case. The dial is signed SWISS MADE at the bottom indicating the hands and hour plots are Luminova and it remains in flawless condition. The 40mm steel case is really strong and has the benefit of vintage-esque drilled lug holes. The solid link Oyster bracelet, ref 93250, is in fantastic condition and has a clasp stamped ‘DT10’ and slid endlinks.

This is a beautiful full set including, both inner and outer boxes, punched papers stating a sale in 2003, paper holder, two hang tags and two booklets…a lovely collectors set ! The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
