The Vintage Matte Maxi Dial ‘13

The reference 5513 is the de factovintage Rolex Submariner in many peoples’ eyes – and on of the most iconic iterations is the Maxi dial. First introduced in around 1976, they were the last series of matte dials that Rolex used in the 5513s. We really love the Maxi 5513s and we are delighted to be offering this great example of the penultimate version - the Mk4. The watch remains in great condition with a strong case with thick lugs and crown guards. The dial is flawless with the oversized hour plots having a cool cream patina that is a very good match with the hands and bezel pearl. The black bezel insert is in outstanding condition. The solid link Oyster bracelet, ref 93150 flip-lock with 501b endlinks and a ‘L2’ clasp, is in good tight condition. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
