Rolex GMT-Master 16700 Coke Bezel Box and Papers

The last original GMT Master…

This is a very cool GMT-Master reference 16700 that was actually the last of the GMT-Masters before Rolex only offered the GMT-Master II. The 16700 replaced the 16750 in 1988 and featured a non-independent 24-hour hand.

Whilst Rolex offered the first GMT-Master 2 at the same time, the 16700 was a less expensive model and also had a thinner case. The Coke bezel gives the watch a different look to Pepsi…but its still cola cool!

The dial is signed T-25 denoting that the dial has tritium hour markers and remains in outstanding condition. The watch comes with the original box and punched guarantee papers. The solid link Oyster bracelet, reference 78360 (with clasp stamped ‘Z 6’ and 501b endlinks) remains in great condition. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
