The huge variety of dials that were made and utilised in the Rolex Datejust, makes it an interesting watch to collect. This is an amazing example with one of the coolest dials – the ‘Wideboy’! The Wideboy gets its name form the hour markers and hands, which are unusually wide and deep. The dial in this watch is in stunning original condition with nice patina on the hands and hour plot lume dots. This 1601 retains a strong case and nicely aged fluted bezel. The folded bracelet is in very good condition and has the correct 55 endlinks. This is a full set including original boxes, guarantee paper, booklets, translation paper and even a hangtag! The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and will come with a strap of your choice from our webshop*.
