The mighty Rolex Datejust was first unveiled in 1945 and has been a staple of the stable ever since. We are able to offer a classic, timeless example of a 1603 that is in great condition, with a good case and interesting blue dial. The dial has a soleil finish and is of a type known as Pie Pan by collectors, due to the sloping outer edge. The lume plots at the hour markers have taken on a rich patina that matches the hands. The fluted bezel, with well-defined reeding detail between the peaks, remains in good condition. The Oyster bracelet, reference 78360, is in very good condition with an old style clasp (stamped R4) and has reference 555b end links. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and comes with a Bulang and Sons strap of your choice*.
