The 34mm Oyster has never been small to us, but it seems that collectors are now beginning to pick up on these super watches. This reference 1500 dates to the mid 1960s and has a grey soleil dial with silver print – a combination that is stunning. The dauphine hands give the watch real vintage Rolex character. The case remains strong all round and the watch will come on a spring loaded rivet-link Oyster bracelet reference 6635, with a clasp stamped ‘2 63’ and ref 57 endlinks. This 1500 has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
