Rolex Date Reference 1500 Black Sigma Dial

The Rolex Date reference 1500 is a cool 34mm watch that has become more of a focus with collectors over the past year or so. We are offering a lovely example with a cool matte black sigma dial in lovely original condition (with a couple of very slight surface marks) and white text and great rich lume. The term ‘Sigma’ refers to the small Greek sigmas that sit either side of the T SWISS T on Rolex dials from the early 1970s. Their presence actually signifies that the hour markers are made from white gold. The case remains strong all round. The watch comes on a solid link Oyster bracelet reference 78350, with a clasp stamped ‘H’ and ref 557 endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
