The Gilt Gloss Chrono

Steel vintage chronos from the 1940s and 50s have become one of the biggest growth areas in vintage watch collecting. This 1940s Record is a beautiful example in a srew down 36mm case with cylindrical pushers and large size winding crown. This dual-function chronograph has an inner time-telling section with gilt arabic numerals in very nice, unrestored condition. The outer track is a 1000-base tachymeter scale and there is also an additional silver print inner telemeter scale too. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and the watch will come on a leather strap of your choice from our web shop*
