We are happy to present you another nice Rolex 1675 vintage GMT with our favorite dial. The Maxi dial from the late 70th. Fat warm indexes and a fresh face.

These days nice GMT’s have become very hard to find and we are extra happy to be able to found another set with some punched papers, the wallet with the serial number sticker attached and some extra service info from 2015 from Finland.

The watch was original sold in Amsterdam in 1982 by Elka to the Finish owner. On the backside is a small engraving which makes us very curious. As its not just a name but also some numbers and the country. Which makes me wonder what adventure or history it stands for. But isn’t that the magic of collecting vintage watches… sometimes we never know and that is the magic.

The watch comes in a nice package with a wilson medium Duffle bag with cool patina, a handmade B&S Signature watch roll, 2 leather straps and a B&S watch tool. Ready to travel the world and become part of your adventures.

Also the Rolex Jubilee is in the package.

In service in the past the inlay has been replaced to a nice fresh looking version. of course you can replace it with an old fat font faded version for even cooler looks. But we preferred to keep the watch as it is, as it looks real nice that way.

As on so many of the Maxi Dial watches there is a difference in tone/patina between the hands and indexes. Often the hands darken a bit more. In real live and on the wrist this is less visible then in the flash light studio images. And we don’t change the hands and prefer to keep the watch as it is. A honest beauty.
